EU Training of trainers
This 3-day training course will take place in February 2020. It will be based on the draft final content of the training of trainers manual and will offer an opportunity to pilot the resource and incorporate any final changes suggested by facilitator and participant feedback. The course will be targeted at key professionals and trainers from partner countries and their wider European networks: participants will be expected to have the potential to cascade the training within their domestic/international networks.
National training of trainers
Each partner will subsequently organise a 2-day national TOT to bring the learning to networks at national levels, which will be based on the TOT manual. Participants from the European Training of Trainers will be invited to facilitate sessions: this will provide a structured opportunity for them to cascade their learning to other organisations within their respective country contexts. This course will support participants to integrate the content of the training and the manual into their organizational practice, thereby bringing the learning to a wider audience.
Training of individuals
Each partner will then host a 2-day national training course for returned volunteers and migrants, which will build participants’ capacities to engage as active citizens. Participants will be upskilled to raise awareness and animate others for civic engagement and volunteering, through the development of joint action projects.
One transnational event for policy makers, stakeholders, NGOs, civil society, universities, institutions and other relevant actors will be invited to be informed about the project’s results and the goals achieved along the project’s lifetime.
This event in each partner country will be organised with the aim to disseminate the recommendations and to impulse the implementation of the measures at a larger scale.
