National Event – 3rd December 2020

On 3 December 2020, for the occasion of International Volunteer Day, France Volontaires organised IC4LoP’s final event: a round table and an online workshop on the mobilisation of young people in the field of migration, particularly in times of health crisis.

The round table

The round table was held on 3 December from 10:00 to 11:30 (French time). The objective was to formulate recommendations to be implemented at the local and regional levels, national and European level, as well as to create a link between actors working in the different areas.

23 people connected to the round table and 6 people on the live facebook at the moment of its broadcast.

Speakers came to give their point of view on the question “What spaces for commitment and action should be created between young people of all ages and horizons, civil society organisations and policy makers? ” :

  • Marine Dori, manager of the Master Mitra Transnational Migrations at the university of Lille  (https://www.master-mitra.eu/fr/ ) at the University of Lille since 2017 and volunteer work for the association Mitrajectoires ( http://mitrajectoires.org/fr/ ) since 2015.
  • Yanis Lammari, founder of Youth ID . He is active in the education and health sector, of local and international solidarity for several years in order to promote youth engagement.
  • Loraine Falconetti is in charge of the International and European Relations Department of the City of Marseille. Since 2016, it has developped the attractiveness and promotion strategy and gives impetus to the theme youth and international mobility.
  • Camille Fidelin, IC4LOP project manager, also had the opportunity to speak at the conference to present the IC4LOP project, Erasmus + and the deliverables produced in the framework of IC4LoP.

The action workshop

The action workshop was held on 3rd December from 14:00 to 15:30 (French time). The objective was to share recommendations and good practices to implement in organisations of practices that promote inclusiveness and identify actions to be taken in place. 9 participants who were connected to the online workshop.
